Interesting times
Hello people.
It has been a long long time, but I'm still around. Just needed to let you know that.
Things are interesting, and getting more interesting.
Last week, I was in New York helping a group of people to develop and fine tune a Broadway play. It was extremely challenging and tiring but very satisfying. It's not possible to say whether I'll be invited to perform in the public release of this play, but there is a chance nonetheless. We'll see.
This week, I'm in L.A., visiting with my favourite singing coach Peisha McPhee. Last Christmas, I performed in China and a variety of circumstances colluded to cause serious damage to my vocal chords and muscles. For six months after, I had to speak and sing only when absolutely necessary. Fortunately, my vocals are almost 100% now, just in time for my lessons with Peisha.
I'll be arriving back in Hong Kong on June 22, but the interesting times don't end there. More to come. Much more to come. :-)

so glad to hear that you're recovering - had been wondering how you were. You were in NY! Too bad I never saw you roaming the streets of NY but even more exciting to read was the theater work!!! I love the theater! Which show is it (or you can't say which is ok too). Hope they do invite you back I would absolutely go to see and support! :)

I've grown up watching tvb series here in Oz. You are certainly a very familiar face and I've often wondered how it is that you're so fluent in Cantonese. Keep up the good work and the next time I see you in a TVB series, I'll yell a "hooray!" for a fellow Aussie!
