小白 Siu Bak
I like this photo so much that I had to share it with everyone. This is 小白 ('little white'), our second dog.

How old is your dog?
I think auto focus is ok expect brand name of Canon--There's sometime out of focus for Canon's camera.

小白 is almost 6 years old.
you're right about auto-focus on the Canon cameras. it works but it's very limited and difficult to predict. almost all of my nature photos are shot with manual focus which can be quite difficult at times but necessary nonetheless.

Haven't seen your articles about using mac for a long time. Why not write down your feeling about wrting scripts here? I am in favor of mac as well, and am considering to get an IntelMac.

Nice dog there! That name 'little white' reminds me of the anime 'Siu sun', he's quite naughty but certainly funny. Active project resting eh...... I need to rest too. LOL. I've just finished my exams and now I am going get crack on my MSc project. Thanks for your reply in your previous entry btw, I guess one thing you are popular is that apart from enjoying to be seen you treat your fans with respect and communicate with them. It's a two-way interaction. Take care dude and make sure you are resting properly ;-)

Hi, Greg. This question isn't related to your cute dog, but...
Do you know anywhere on the Web where one can read sample Chinese movie or TV scripts. There are lots of sites that provide free screenplay samples of well-known English-language movies, but I'd like to see Chinese ones as well, particularly Cantonese ones.
If not, are you able to post a sample from one of your old TV dramas?

有一點不太同意你對中產同低收入人仕的看法，我唔覺得中產少生下一代係自私，反而係前路看不通，不如唔好害了下一代。在香港的中產巳經夠苦了，不要再說他們的不是了。

'active project - resting'. well, actually, I have two new series coming up in the next couple of weeks but they're not major parts. the first one is a challenging role though so it will be entertaining to say the least. trying to be 'real' can be harder for some roles than for others.
I hope you exams went well. 'MSc project' - master of science? woh!
I try to respond but sometimes, just seeing the number of comments and emails waiting for me to answer makes me balk. there are currently more than 350 email messages waiting for me to answer. soon... soon...

I don't know of any sites online with sample scripts. I'll ask a couple of my friends and see if they know of any.

writing in Chinese is fine, totally ok, even simplified Chinese; a little harder for me to read but the practice will not hurt ;-)

I know of da shan. he's smart, successful and famous. he's even known in Hollywood.
I hope your studies go well. China needs more good doctors. there are plenty of people who need responsible and capable medical care.

this may seem a little out of topic but i really need help. my pug -9 yrs. old has diff. urinating again. he had a operation of bladder stones 5 yrs ago and on special diet then. last yr. he's on ordianry diet ( i don't have a job ,and can't afford it ). is there a vet who can charge me lesser for consultation and operation becoz i can't really afford it. thanks!

little white... hmmm a very chinese name for a pet. i used to have 2 cats 1 called little white and the other little black. now i own a rotweiler, rocky.

Hello, Rivers, nice to meet you! Your rabbit is very lovely. I also keep rabbit too, and my rabbit is male. His name is called "Sor Tao", he is a crazy rabbit, haha..... His looks(樣子) is similar to your rabbit. I want to send some Sor Tao's photo to you, but I don't know what way I can send the photo to you?
I think your rabbit meet you is very lucky. Because you treat her very well, every day you bathing and take care with her. Besides, you treat your ten dogs is very well too. So I think you are a good pet master.

Recently, Sor Tao have some problem, is about his teeth. I bring him go to see the Veterinarian last 2 weeks, and the Veterinarian said that his teeth is a little bit longer, so it effect to secrete the tear to the corner of his right eye. And the Veterinarian said may be Sao Tao need to do a surgical operation can settle the problem. I'm so worry about him, I don't know what way I can help him, Rivers, can you have some nature method to help Sor Tao?

I came across your website by chance just now - but I have watched your performance when I lived in Hong Kong years ago. I live in London and notice that many young artists / footballers all publish biographies - with or without meaningful stories.
Although you wrote that you were lucky to get the chance to work at TVB and developed your performing career, I am sure you have worked hard to get to where you are. Perhaps you can get together your interviews and stories and write a book. It is really encouraging and nice to see someone who patiently pursues his goal finally gets somewhere. I have an impression that in Hongkong this belief is somehow lost among the new generation.
